Microscope Abstracts

 Miss Markakis worked on a great STEAM project with the students during her time here.  The 7th and 8th graders looked at photographs of microscope views of cells.  Students created abstracted paintings using the photographs as inspiration.  Then, they used a tempera batik technique to further abstract the work.  The results were really amazing.
