Macro Photography

The Digital Photography class just finished discussing macro photography, depth of field, framing, and composition.  usually, I have students take 100 pictures of an object, to stretch them to look at something differently and get creative with cropping.  This year, Miss Markakis came up with the great idea to give each student a 10 foot string.  Students had to attach one end of the string to themselves and one end to an object in a space.  They were forced to photograph the area within 10 feet of themselves.  Below are some examples.
