Los Angeles Trip

We headed to Los Angeles for our bi-annual adventure.  This time around we had 16 students.  The trip focuses on careers in film, TV, art, and photography.  We visited our friends at FOX Sports who always show us EVERYTHING there is to know about working behind the scenes at a major network.  We got to meet the Big East Commissioner Val Ackerman, who talked to us about Division I athletics and TV.  We also bumped into hosts/analysts Steve Lavin and Rob Stone.  They talked to us in the green room for about an hour then invited us to sit in on a live broadcast of an NCAA Women's basketball game.  What an experience!
We also visited/toured: The Getty Museum, Disneyland Youth Programs, USC, The Reagan Library, The EYES Gallery, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers Studios, Hollywood Blvd, Mann's Chinese Theater, the Dolby Theater, Santa Monica Pier, and much more.  Did I mention that it was freezing and raining horizontally?  It even snowed one day but we made the most of it!
