Kinetic Energy

Miss Markakis is embarking on a great STEAM lesson with Art II.  Students created pendulums with string, cups, and yard sticks between furniture in the classroom.  They filled the cups with paint and tried to predict the outcomes.  They were encouraged to manipulate the materials to change the outcomes.  On the second day, students worked with different pendulums and other colors to create large paintings.  Students will manipulate the paintings with mixed media once dry.
