September 27, 2011 South Jersey Energy Announces Winners of the “Energy for the Arts” Grants

  

Folsom, NJ - South Jersey Energy today announced the winners of its “Energy for the Arts” Grants program. The program awarded 15, $1,000 grants designed to provide critical support for competitive arts programs for school-aged children in the seven southern counties of New Jersey. The winners are: Weymouth Township School Collingswood High School Dennis Township School Harker Wylie/ Haines School Salem Middle School Woodland County Day School Lenape High School Olivet & Elmer Schools Pitman High School Mannington Township School Clearview Regional High School Waterford Township Elementary School Millville Senior High School Washington Township High School Cumberland Regional High School Consistent with program requirements, eligible applicants were school-based, competitive art programs that served any or all children within grades K-12 from Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. The programs included, but were not limited to: Visual Art, Drama/Theatre, Music, Dance, and Media Art.
