Gold Leaf

 This school year, I have been reading aloud a book to my Art 3/4 students.  The book is The Lady in Gold by Ann Marie O'Connor.  For more about our intro to the book, you can see this post: http://collsart.blogspot.com/2015/11/the-lady-in-gold.html
The culminating activity for the students was to create an artwork that incorporates gold leaf.  It was a lot of fun to experiment with the gold leaf and here are some examples.
