Gift Ideas for your Student Artists

This is a list of art supplies that make great gifts.  Some are ideas for students who will be in college next year, some are luxury supplies that any art student would appreciate.  Others are items that we use in school that are great foundational supplies.  I like Blick Art Supplies the most for catalog/internet shopping (www.dickblick.com).  You can find some of these items at Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, and AC Moore.  Some stores in Philadelphia are: Artist and Craftsman at 307 Market Street, Blick Art Supply at 1330 Chestnut Street, and Plaza Artist Materials and Custom Framing on the Drexel campus at 3200 Chestnut.  One last thing to mention, General Art Supply is a Jersey City company.  You can buy their products everywhere and when you do, you are supporting a NJ business!
