What a Great Year!

Our school holds a very special fine and performing arts banquet every year at this time.  It is held in a ballroomclose to school.  The artwork is displayed in the balcony level during cocktail hour and the awards celebration is held on the lower level, on the dance floor.  We have over 350 people attend every year.  Each teacher has a turn to present students with awards.  In the art department, we have a tradition of giving each student an artist book.  This year
I gave 4 awards: Senior portfolio awards to Ansa and Samantha, Leadership in the Arts to Tyrell, and Visionary Artist to Maryum.  I was also honored to give out 57 certificates and ribbons for students who placed in competitions, published their artwork, NHS membership, etc, throughout the year.  What a great way to end the year!
