Bones

Middle School 7th and 8th graders worked on this project in late November, but I never posted the final results.  They observed our classroom skeleton, Mr. Thrifty, with a viewfinder.  Students drew and shaded their bones with white charcoal on black paper.  Finally, they added a background with colored pencil flowers and gel markers.  The backgrounds were inspired by Mexican folk art and Days of the Dead.
