Monochromatic Ink Batik Paintings

 My Art II class created monochromatic self-portraits with tempera paint.  We are going to finish the works with an ink batik resist.  I first heard about this process from Karen Kiick, who is a fellow art teacher at a high school in a neighboring town.  She is also President-Elect of the Art Educators of New Jersey.  For more information, you can find Karen's website here:
