Annual Art Awards

 The Collingswood High School Art Awards were held on March 29th at the Collingswood Ballroom.  The evening is always a wonderful celebration of the artistic and musical achievements of our students.  We are honored to celebrate this event in such a beautiful space.  We display artwork by our students on the balcony level.  Awards are given in the areas of fine art, computer graphics, TV production, band, color guard, theater,  choir, and strings.
This year's fine art awards were given to:
Danielle:  Art Service Award
Conor: Leadership in the Arts
Dondre: Visionary Artist
Julia: Junior Portfolio
Tran: Senior Portfolio
We also present certificates to students for county and honorable mention at Teen Arts, Youth Art Month, Congressional Art Competition, and National Art Honor Society.
This year I was especially touched by the special presentation of flowers given to me by my students.  It was an unexpected surprise and one of the nicest things that anyone has ever done for me!
